Hello this is Jane Brown.  I wanted to share with you some prevention methods that you may want to look at when you are considering that you need to take care of your body and your health. I know, prostate problems are not on your mind, until it is too late.  Think about this now!

Our bodies are capable of eating all types of foods, however, if we force it to digest incompatible foods all at once it puts a strain on our digestive system. This, in turn, drains our body of energy and forces our body to work harder.  Our body uses one set of digestive acids and enzymes to digest one kind of food.

If we eat two types of foods that are the same, they will cancel out each other.  The foods will sit in your stomach and tend to turn into toxins which have not been fully digested.  Eventually, this food will pass through the intestines partially digested.

Any nutrients that you have eaten will be locked inside the food and pass through your body.  The net result is a loss of a healthy body type leading to all types of health issues such as prostate problems.

The process is simple. Divide your foods into groups and mix them only if they are compatible.
The food groups would be:

  1. Acid Fruits – grapefruit, lemons, limes, oranges, pineapple, strawberries, tangerines and tomatoes
  2. Sweet Fruits – bananas, dates, figs, prunes, raisins, and dried fruits
  3. Starches/Carbs – dried beans, bread, cereals, corn, grains, pasta, dried peas, potatoes, pumpkin
  4. Proteins – dairy products, eggs, fish, chicken, meat, nuts, seeds, soy products
  5. Fats/Oils – avocado, butter, coconut, cream, margarine, olives, oils
  6. Vegetables – all of them!

6 Rules for Combining Foods:

Rule #1 – Mix and Match foods within the same group

Rule #2 – Have vegetables with every meal

Rule #3 – Eat fruits alone – Ideally, you should eat two hours after a meal or half hour before you consume other foods

Rule #4 – Separate the sweet and acid fruits

Rule #5 – Separate the starches from fats and oils (Starches: rice, potatoes, pasta)

Rule #6 – Separate the starches and the proteins

The old myth of eating meat and potatoes is just that “old”

The idea of changing the way you eat will take time.  This is not an easy task, but if you think about the way you are eating now it is not working.  Getting away from the idea of eating meals that contain meat and potatoes. This is a challenge but you will feel better in the long run if you follow the six rules of combining foods.

The Most Important Rule to Remember:

You won’t feel hungry!

You won’t have to give up any foods that you like!

The simple matter of eating the right foods together is the key to not wasting valuable energy in your body.
