A few suggestions:

  • Try to cut out all processed foods
  • Increase your intake of protein, fiber, green vegetables and good fats
  • Organic produce is ideal and if you can grow your own vegetables – it is even more ideal
  • Cooking from scratch is another excellent way to ensure that you are getting all the nutrients from fresh vegetables

Habits to Embrace if you Experience Thyroid Problems:

  • If you dine out try to order a big salad with a portion of protein on it and try to stay away from fast food establishments
  • Snacking between meals and eating after 7:00 p.m. at night can also become bad habits in controlling your thyroid issues
  • Another good habit to get into is to drink lots of water. Carry a travel mug with you everywhere.  A water jug beside your desk and on your kitchen counter will to remind you to drink water.

Adopt a Healthy Lifestyle Routine.

The best strategy for our life is to adopt a healthy lifestyle routine.

This means take healthy foods, stay hydrated, follow a daily exercise plan and take necessary vitamins in consultation with the health practitioner.
